About Us

We are Roland and Miranda. We're a married couple, sometimes compared to two over-excited Labrador puppies, who started a company called Muddy Boots Real Foods Ltd in December 2008. We left our media and film careers in London to have a crack at our dream of building a national food brand and we started Muddy Boots to show how beef burgers should be made better.

We got a lucky break to appear in a BBC One television series in May 2010 called ‘High Street Dreams’ and life got even more exciting after that. Our burgers are now stocked in 34 Waitrose stores, Ocado and some independent retailers. We also supply our burgers and 21 day matured steaks to restaurants, as well as selling online on our sister website, www.muddybootsfoodhall.co.uk.
