Sirloin Steak

Wonderfully tender with a spine of succulent fat to pack it full of flavour when you cook it… this is a fantastic steak experience. The marbled beef really shows in this one and the tiny veins of fat running through the beef dissolve when you cook it.

Miranda’s serving suggestions:
No need for oil if your pan is non-stick. Just get it really hot and then put the steak(s) in the middle. Just a couple of minutes either side for medium-rare, keep turning until you like the colour. Terrific in a griddle pan too so that you get the dark lines and that lovely seared beef taste.
